Huddersfield Town vs Burnley Match Preview

The games are coming thick and fast now the season has started, and our third fixture is another home one against Burnley. Our rather fortunate point against Forest in midweek means we are still looking for our first win, and there’s no reason why we can’t do that this weekend against The Clarets. Huddersfield Town vs Nottm Forest – Post-Match Review

Righto, gonna take a bit of a change to my post-match stuff this season. It got a bit tedious doing a full report for every game and I figured most people can find this info elsewhere like on the official site or the BBC etc. So I’m gonna try to do more of a “Post-Match Review” (did the title give it away?) and pick out things that I think did and didn’t work about our performance. I’m really looking forward to this new season. Not because I think we’ll be challenging near the top for a promotion place, but purely because it’s going to be so different to playing in League One. We’ll be coming up against teams that I’ve never seen us play before, playing in stadiums I’ve never attended and seeing crowds I’ve never witnessed on such a regular basis! I hope Town fans just enjoy the ride in the 2012/13 season because it’s not going to be easy – there will be ups and plenty of downs – but if we can put up a fight and establish ourselves as a Championship team, I think most people will be happy come the end of the season.
